Press Rate

Job Estimator
Cost is per single sheet of that paper — not per book, not per ream.
Cost is per finished piece (per book/unit) — the full finishing cost for one unit, not the whole job.
To match a spreadsheet that uses a single flat "Profit %" on top of Total Production Cost (no separate wastage/overhead/tax), set Wastage, Overhead and Tax to 0% and Margin to your Profit %.
Set how many pieces of each paper size come out of one mother/parent sheet for each printing method. This drives the paper-yield calculation on the New Job tab. Changes here apply after you tap "Save Rate Card" below.
Mother sheet size — the raw NCR paper you buy (cm).
Pieces cut from one mother sheet, per standard size.
Custom / Open size — trim margin added to the item's L×H before working out how many fit.
NCR-specific costs.
Printing-plate imposition — how many pieces fit on ONE press pass (different from the paper-cutting yield above). A custom/Open size is bucketed by comparing its area to real A5/A6 dimensions.
This document shows the customer only the item, quantity, rate and total — never your cost, wastage, overhead or margin breakdown.
